Payment Methods
We accept payment using any credit card bearing the Visa or Mastercard logo, or any debit card bearing a Switch, Solo or Visa Delta logo. No charge will be made to your card account until goods are actually available for despatch.
Trading Policy
Please be aware that it is always our intention to deal with all of our customers promptly, efficiently and fairly at all times. However, when looking after the interests of so many customers and stocking thousands of different lines with varying availability, occasional problems will arise.
Non-Delivery
Whilst we do try to despatch orders promptly, please allow 28 days before enquiring, in case the particular item which you have ordered is temporarily out of stock. In the event of any item which you have ordered and paid for becoming unavailable from the publisher, we grant full credit, which can be used against further purchases or is readily refundable in cash on request. The granting of credit in the first instance is done in order to prevent unnecessary money transfer costs, particularly for our overseas customers. Purchase by credit or debit card avoids the need to grant credits, since no charge is made until goods are actually despatched.
In Case Of Error Or Damage
Should there be a problem with your order - which we will gladly rectify - please contact us before you take any other action, so that we can advise you of the most efficient means of dealing with the problem.
Stock Availability & Prices
Books which are imported specially from many parts of the world may be subject to erratic supply; we may ask for your patience.
Prices are subject to change at times due to fluctuations in exchange rates and to publisher price increases and reductions. However we make great efforts to keep these changes to a minimum.
We will do our best to inform you of any delays.
24-hour Ordering
If you prefer to order by telephone, we can deal with your call personally during office hours, or we have a telephone answering machine for the convenience of customers who find it helpful to call us outside our normal office hours. If using the answering machine, please speak clearly, and leave us all the information we need, e.g. your name, full address, credit or debit card number, valid from and expiry dates, Switch issue number if applicable, a proper description (preferably title and product code) of the items you would like to purchase. Your order will be dealt with as soon as we re-open.
